How to create Screenshots?

Hi,

Making screenshots has never been easy. Previously, in old days, when you want to take a screenshot of your existing screen and send to other person as image/picture file in JPG format, it was never easy unless you have imaging softwares like Photoshop or at least the MS Paint.

Now, things getting more simple, to take your screenshot, you can just open the capturing software, and straight away you can cut the screen selecting which position you want to make the screenshot (not necessary for you to capture the whole screen), and what ever you are capturing, immediately get saved into JPG image. Multiple screen you capture, multiple JPG, this makes life totally easy.

I will first tell you the classic way of capturing screenshots (printscreen),
In your keyboard, look for ‘Print Screen’ button. Normally they use short form like ‘PrtSc’ which means the same. Click on the button, then open MS Words or Powerpoint, straight away click on the ‘Paste’ button, you will see the screenshot that you captured being put there as a image/picture. You can capture as many screen as you want through the 'Print Screen' button and every time after capturing, you must Paste them into the MS Words or Powerpoint.

To make things more easy, the modern way of capturing screenshots, just download and install any screen capturing software. I personally suggest ScreenHunter since it is free and it works fine for me even in Windows 7. Everytime you need to capture screenshot, just open this software and click on the Capture button, straight away it will create the JPG file and save to your desired folder. You can set the default folder in the settings.

There is an option in the ScreenHunter which lets you to capture 'Rectangle Area'. This means, when you capturing using this option, instead of capturing the whole screen, the software will give you selector cursor to simply select any part of your screen. This is wonderful way of making anything visible on your screen to be in JPG picture format.

Have fun guys!

Create PDF from almost any format document

Hi guys,

Do you have MS Document or MS Excel that you want to make it PDF and send over to your client/customers?

I had few clients ask me this question and I advised them the steps. But, when new customers keep on asking the same, I eventually get tired. The right manner, I should have Blog about it which I decide to do it now rather than 'another' later.

Direct to point, making or converting your documents to PDF is completely easy. There are few softwares that can do this work easily.

I would personally suggest CutePDF since I have test it.

Steps,

  1. Download and install CutePDF, link: http://www.cutepdf.com/download/CuteWriter.exe
  2. Open your the document that you want to make PDF (can be any document format DOC, DOCX, ...)
  3. Click to File > Print.
  4. When the print screen shows up, you will notice the 'Printer' set to your existing default Printer. Click on the printer list and change it to CutePDF (this is a new printer which will appear after you installed CutePDF)
  5. Go ahead and print with CutePDF, it will immediately ask you for the PDF filename.
  6. Your document is now in PDF format as the filename you saved.

Have fun! Blast the PDF to your customers. Spam their mailbox as much as possible with all your promotion stuffs.
